| SMASHION Q&A |
| Q. |
Yay, I just posted my first item for sale! Now what? How will I know if someone wants to buy my listing? |
| A. |
When a buyer is ready to check out, Smashion will forward the buyer to PayPal to make the payment. You'll get an order email from Smashion right away. After the buyer completes the transaction, PayPal will also send you a notice. However, there won't be a notice from PayPal if the transaction isn't completed or is canceled.
It's a good idea to confirm the sale before you ship out the order. Do so by logging into your Paypal account. |
| Q. |
The Smashion shopping cart already includes the shipping charge. Why am I charged an additional shipping on PayPal? |
| A. |
It's likely that the seller has set up the automatic shipping option on her/his PayPal merchant profile. As a result, PayPal adds a shipping fee on top of the amount Smashion sends over. If you haven't paid for the order yet, you can contact the seller directly (their email address is in the Smashion order email) and ask the seller to change the PayPal settings. If you've already paid for the order, contact the seller directly and ask her/him to issue you a credit to your PayPal account for the extra shipping charge.
Please see this PayPal document for an explanation. |

2011 Trend Report: Bringin' Back 60s Ladylike Glamour
Every fashion lover knows that style is like a giant wheel - what goes around, comes around. Today's fashions are always informed and influenced by the past. And nowhere is that more obvious than in the recent 60s revival.
Wait - before you start dreaming of shift dresses and miniskirts, think again. This is the early 60s, and even late 50s that are guiding this trend - an era of ladylike fashion, utterly feminine and yet always modest. The silhouettes were all full skirts, with fitted bustier-style tops and cinched-in waists, paired with demure cardigans.
