- To treat chapped lips, gently exfoliate them by rubbing lips softly with a wet toothbrush. Another way to exfoliate your lips is to mix Vaseline with a bit of sugar (you want a grainy consistency), and rub that mixture on your lips with your finger.
- When you’re applying eyeliner, don’t pull and stretch your skin outwardly so that you can apply the liner smoothly. Instead, use a q-tip to gently hold your eyelid down and gently sweep your eyeliner across the top lid. This will help to prevent sagging in the future.
- If your lip gloss has run out, don’t throw out the tube right away! You can get every last bit out of your lip glosses by first heating a mug of water in the microwave for about 1 minute (water should be hot, but not boiling; timing differs with each microwave). Note: DON’T boil water and put it in the mug! Then take your lip gloss and submerge it into the mug. Let the gloss sit for 5 minutes to let all the gloss melt from the sides, down to the bottom of the tube. And voila! You should be able to get some more mileage out of your gloss!
