I haven't done it yet. I know a few of my acquaintances who are so into nail art but I think it adds plus points to make our hands prettier. I only put nail polish on my nails and sometimes I also think of adding some vibrant designs on them but I'm not very sure if I can pull them off.

Have you ever tried putting on different nail colors and designs? I think it's cool. My friend and I tried it once and I decided to put some pink flowers on and it really looked great. But I think my friend's nails were really gorgeous since they were long and sleek while mine were shorter. Using blush and bronzer depends on what skin tone you have. Personally, I can use both since I'm not that fair and somehow tanned. I love the effect when I use both. The blush gives my skin that accent and the bronzer complements it too.

I envy those who have perfectly thick and long lashes. I really wasn't interested about using fake lashes but it was my last resort I guess. I've been using fake lashes since I started working and I think it's quite useful and it really flatters my eyes. I've also tried those Shu Uemura lashes and I find it very necessary since it doesn't really look fake at all.

I love Shu Uemura fake lashes. Every celeb would probably not be caught on camera without them. I know they make for really emphasized eyes but do they look well even on regular people without looking ridiculous or trying too hard?

I wear contacts. Sometimes I wear my glasses if I don’t have to go out because I know that the natural lenses of the eyes actually get oxygen from the environment (it has no blood vessels). But yes, I wear my contacts up till nighttime. :)

I love wearing contact lens because it makes me feel more beautiful and confident. Haha.. but mine are corrective contact lens because I’m a near sighted person. I don’t wear them everyday coz they make me feel itchy. Contact lens cannot be worn for more that 3 hours because they can cause temporary vision disturbances.

I just love my Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler, I have had it for years already and it is still pretty much the same. Only this one works for me, my lash is curled for more hours. I heard Madonna uses the gold limited edition. Curling your lashes brightens your face more.

Strictly speaking, purple is not the complementary color of green; green's complimentary color is red. Lol. But purple is usually recommended for brown probably because it's a combination of red and blue, and the blue part of purple complements brown. :)

I know you're only supposed to keep makeup for certain periods, but I don't follow the "rules" most of the time. I go by the "if it doesn't smell or if the color hasn't changed", the it's still ok to use. Except for mascara. I always follow the rules for mascara because it goes nearest my eyes. Luckily, I don't wear eyeshadow or liner so I don't need to worry about those.

I really love Pantene Prov for conditioner. Its always made my hair feel super soft. Dove deoderant is also great (especially the clinical strength they just came out with!) As far as makeup, I like bobbi brown, nars, and loreal for eye products!

I'm quite partial to MAC for makeup. I love the vibrant colors of its eyeshadows and lipsticks and the quality of the products. For my brushes, I prefer Bare Escentuals. I'm not that particular with my shampoos, conditioners or soaps though. I usually buy whatever's on sale so I change my brands frequently.

I know I'm not supposed to share things like my makeup brushes, tweezers, razors for sanitary reasons, but what about makeup? Maybe it's ok to share with friends if I don't have sensitive skin? I’ve never really used twist type eyeliners before – in fact, I’m quite a newbie in the eyeliner arena. :) I’m using a pencil type eyeliner but its substance is gel-like; it’s sooo easy to apply but once it dries, it never smudges. :)

I love makeup, but I don't wear it often. I want my skin to breathe so I keep my makeup light: blush on, lipstick, eyeliner (top lid only), and very light foundation. Most often, I skip the foundation altogether.

My friends say I should wear more makeup, but I don't want my skin to suffer! No matter how skin-friendly and noncomedogenic some brands are, my face tends to break out or become allergic.

I respond best to cream and liquid types of lip balms rather than wax types. With a waxy lip balm, the wax stands out and makes my lips look worse! Sigh; I need to get rid of my braces. LOL!

My favorite is the Sugar Rose lip balm from Fresh. I love the color and the fact that it has SPF 15 in it.

I'm in love with Bare Escentuals mascara. I'd been using Prescriptives, which is great, but I tried out the Bare Escentuals one when it came in a kit and was amazed at how great it is!

In my many years of finding great makeup, I have grown to stick to specific brands and products because of how they served me well. Although I still haven't found that one brand of mascarra that I will be loyal to for a long time. I am in search for a mascarra that will provide length and volume and will help the curl hold up for much longer, plus it has to be waterproof. Is that too much to ask? Any suggestions?

I use Mac cleanse off oil.I LOVE this product! I use it to breakdown and remove all my makeup (including airbrush and waterproof makeup), I also use it on my bodypainting brushes. It brings my dual fibre brushes back to white!

I've been trying out different makeup removers lately and am currently using Aveeno's Positively Radiant Makeup Removing Cleanser. I like that it's a foam-based cleanser, but noticed that it doesn't take off ALL my makeup. There are always still smudges of eyeliner on my lower tear line.

Anyone have suggestions of a better makeup remover/cleanser?

Definitely lipstick!

A great colored lipstick brightens up your whole face! Something mascara and eyeliner and concealer won't do. You can go from an informal look to a formal look quickly and easily by just applying lipstick!

Yes, light colours are best for summers. The actually show of the tan and dark colours are good for winters but I use all colours all colours in all seasons be it summer, spring, winter or autumn. It just depends on my mood.

They say the hands tell the real age of a person. I agree, especially at this day and age of botox and plastic surgery. I guess it also tells so much more about a person, not only about the person's age. I was looking at the photo of Sarah Jessica Parker's hands and I was stunned. But it is not something I take against her. I believe that those are hardworking hands. Angelina Jolie's hands are pretty too but they are "veiny" as well. Some keratin formulas use formadlehyde, others do not. For a formaldehyde free treatment, try Keratin Complex by Coppola. I fugred if my hair dress and all of the other women who worked at the salon were willing to try it (and my hair dresser's young daughter) on their own hair, it had to be pretty safe. My hairdresser also had been completely against me getting other straighteners, such as Japanese. I'm glad I listened to her on that one!

Has anyone else had Keratine Complex Straightening? I have naturally wavy hair and had Keratin straightening last July and will be getting it again this week. My initial experience with it has been great, especially since I've heard that it works better the second time for virgin hair.

I think french tips are no longer in now. It has become dull and boring. Change is the essence of life. Variety is what we need. Hence for now, I would like to go with short and dark colour nails. It makes one look smart and sexy, at the same time prim and proper.

Crimson is my favourite Lip Colour. This colour is highly in demand even among the celebs. I have a light complexion and I go for dark lip colours. Magenta, violet, blood red, rose red etc. are my other favourites.

Women mostly have trouble with choosing the right lip colour. Women with darker skin tones should choose a one tone lighter lipcolour, wheras women with lighter skin tones should go for darker hues. Specially if one is going out at night than the person should go for something that is dark,glittery and glossy. It also depends on the occasion as to what lipcolour one should wear.
