This article is nice and to some boys who all are about appearance and don't take time to look deeper has a rude awakening later in life because gravity will take over. Beauty is only skin deep. I think it is more than your body that matters. If you are uncomfortable with your weight, it will show in your self-esteem and self-confidence. Be happy with yourself before trying to make someone happy. I am a thick woman and I am very confident with myself and it shows and I get noticed for that.

Oh, yeah! I love yellow and white. Have you ever added a bit of green or navy to the mix? If so, was it am accessory like a scarf or belt, or perhaps some jewelry? What is your ideal spring color combination? My all-time favorite is blue and white, and I love black and white as well but the past few years I have been enamored of winter white with pale gold - the lighter colors hint at the warmth of summer to come but they are also extremely polished so work well for the office or an evening out. Okay so I came across a study that said women on average have about 17 pairs of shoes. But out of those 17 pairs, only 3 are actually in heavy rotation!

I'd like to know if this is true for Smashionistas and if it is,what is or what are those 3 pairs of shoes that you wear all the time?

I'd have to say that this is true for me and my pair is a brandless Vans-like canvas sneaker with a purple floral print.

Still doesn't mean that I'd trade in my killer heels for them though!

This happens alot. I do as admin suggests - contact the buyer to see if you can answer any questions about the item. I wait 24 hours before doing so, and if I do not hear back after an additional 24 hours, I void the sale.

I like designer bags but only for going out or special ocassions. I believe there are many other handbags of great quality at better prices than designer handbags.

Recently I found a brand which makes handmade handbags and I got one last month, so far it's been of great quality and also I loved the design. I don't know why I can't attach the picture of it but the brand is called "Chapman Bags".

Yes I do like buying expensive lingerie as it feels very comfortable wearing lingerie of some brands. I buy my sexy lingerie from panties.com as you get all varieties of lingerie over there and you also get lacy underwear over there. I prefer it the most as it is soft and comfortable.

When editing my listings I find that on some the size drop down shows numbers and on others it shows letters. Is this a glitch, and is there some way to get both in the drop down? Am I missing something?

Now you can specify the brand or designer, colors (up to 2), and size when you create a listing. They are described in the following document:

None of these fields are required, but they will help buyers find the right item. So we encourage all the sellers to update their existing listings. Soon users will be able to browse/search by these fields.

Anyone into feather earrings?

I've been seeing this on celebrities and I'm thinking of copying it. Thing is, they usually only wear just one feather earring on one ear and leave the pair behind!

I have been on the hunt for the perfect birthday dress for months. What can I say, you only turn 21 once. Finding the perfect birthday dress whether you are 19, 21, or 24 is quite important.

Over the weekend I went to Chicago and went to one of my favorite stores. I didn't get to look around much due to the fact I was with a big group of girls. I found two amazing dresses that I need help deciding from.

First dress:

It looks so adorable. I plan to wear it with some JC's and maybe some bracelets.

My second dress:

This dress is a little more plain but it would be nice to dress up with some stand out heels and cute jewelry.

Last but not least my third

I LOVE THIS DRESS! It is all about retro color blocking.

Hello, All! I have been wondering if there is any way to help each other generate business to our Smashion stores. I saw tatmom's youtube videos (great job, tatmom!), and I am sure that is a great way to build your business. But I am also thinking maybe we could network for each other, find a way to get our friends to visit smashion stores. I would like to open this topic for discussion and see if we can come up with a plan to help each other out. Some ideas:

Traffic Exchange -

1) extending points(?) to fellow smashion sellers for every lead they generate (would need to find a way to document, I suppose). Points could add up to store credits for fellow sellers.

2) the above and/or generating a lead to another store for every lead they send your way - 1 for 1.

Referrals -

1) Provide contact information for willing friends (obviously must be approved by said friends) and extending points to seller for every sale generated through these contacts (I am thinking that one would send an email invitation to the friends, maybe with a discount attached or an offer for discounts for every lead they generate that results in a sale)

2) Sellers use their own discretion to generate leads to other stores then notify seller(s) of leads (email/name) so that if it results in a sale, points/credits would be issued to person who referred them.

Research - finding online sources for advertising and posting them here under a recognized title so participants would be able to spot the post at a glance.

Any other ideas? Any thoughts on the ones I have mentioned? Any system would require diligence, honesty and communication. Perhaps we could do a "sign up" for participants so that it is easy to track those to whom you might need to issue credits. Or it could be open to any seller as long as they are aware of the need to communicate. Friending sellers may be a really easy way to keep in touch; otherwise, we could use the forum. Please reply to let me know your thoughts and any suggestion you may have. We could make 2012 sales incredible!!

Just want to ask if anyone here has tried wearing Spanx or any other body shaping undergarment. I'll be attending a fall wedding soon and there's no really time to shape up! LOL. I'm thinking of buying Spanx online but at those prices, they're what I would call an investment. Are they really worth it? Or is there something cheaper that can give pretty much the same result?
