What is your name and where are you from?

maneka: My name is Hina Desai and I am from Dallas,Texas.

How did you begin designing? Why did you start?

maneka: I began designing about 10 years ago as a hobby and about 7 years ago I started to sell to friends and family and then things progressed to having my own website and Face book came along and I really love it now where it is going.

Where do you look to for inspiration in your designs?

maneka: My girls are my inspiration and I see nature color and things around me and it just comes to me when I look at beads touching them and feeling them in my hands just takes me to a special place!

Where do you get your materials?

maneka: India, online sources as well as anywhere I travel I see beading material

maneka: Vera Wang, Dior, Dillard's Macy's

maneka: I love to make people laugh to break the ice so everyone is relaxed and can have fun.

maneka: Hand bags, Shoes and my pajamas

maneka: Tiramisu

maneka: Facebook fanpage, word of mouth, my customers are my best advertizers.
