What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?

Lexy: During the hours of 9-5, I am a city girl working in a super busy corporate office, running 100 miles per minute. My other full time job is being a mommy to my kiddies, ages 12 and 9, and a wife! Somewhere in between, I find the time for blogging.

How would you describe your personal style?

Lexy: I would describe my personal style is fun, practical and creative. I believe in making my style my very own and living by my own rules. I like to keep it fun by adding lots of color and creative by unconventionally wearing items, like dresses as skirts and rocking tops backwards for a new neckline

Three things in your closet you cannot live without:

Lexy: My black silk boyfriend blazer, my dark denim skinny jeans and my black and gold Tory Burch "Reva" flats.

Great fashion steal:

Lexy: All of my blazers are great fashion steals because they have all been thrifted and of the 40+ that I own, none of them were over $5.00!

What types of items do you like to save $ on and what do you splurge on?

Lexy: I like to save money on novelty pieces by combing the racks at the thrift store and finding unique and cheap items. I have been known to splurge on handbags and I don't mind spending the money for a classic and well-made handbag that will last for years.

Do you keep your older clothes or do you like to keep your closet small and organized?

Lexy: I am just starting to get over a slight closet hoarding problem and being afraid to get rid of the pieces that no longer work. I now like to keep a small, organized, color sorted closet.

4 things you can't live without:

Lexy: My iphone, nail polish, lip gloss and my light denim H&M jean jacket!

If you had a time machine that could take you back in time, what year would you go to and why?

Lexy: I would go back to 2004 - the year I was married. I know it sounds cliche but my wedding day really was the best day of my life!

On the first day of hot weather, you'll find me:

Lexy: At the water park with the kids! ...having just as much fun as they are, getting on every single water ride in the park.

I am passionate about:

Lexy: Taking care of my family. And looking great doing it!

Lexy: The world of blogging is fascinating! I have gotten so much inspiration from style, food and beauty bloggers!

This scares you:

Lexy: How quickly the years are going by scares me. Which is why I try to savor every moment! :)
