What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?

Annelise: I work for a local, non-profit hospital. It sounds very exciting, but I actually work in our donation office. I see a lot of money and take a lot of phone calls every day. Let's just say this... it pays the bills (most of them, anyway!).

Whose style, past or present, influences your style?

Annelise: I don't have a specific style icon (though my BEAUTY icon is Lauren Conrad). I mostly adapt my personal style based on what I see hanging in stores when I go shopping. I mostly frequent consignment stores and discount shops like TJ Maxx and Marshalls.

What is your fantasy splurge?

Annelise: Great question! I definitely do NOT spend a lot of money when I'm out shopping, but if I were given the chance, I'd jump at the chance to update my everyday accessory assortment. A new purse (I don't own a single name-brand purse), some new Ray-Ban sunnies, and a couple fancy bracelets would do it!

Annelise: 1. I have a bearded dragon. His name is Dobby! 2. I can do a back tuck! I have a video of it on my blog, Aunie Sauce. 3. I'm a super-romantic. I was in a relationship and even got married (oops!) before realizing it wasn't right for me. Love is the bond that holds my whole life together.

What inspires you?

Annelise: Love! I'm all about compassion, listening, learning and loving. If someone seeks love, I want to help give it to them.

A woman's most beautiful feature is her:

Annelise: Personality. I know that sounds cheesy, but the most beautiful women in the world are the ones who inspire, who love, and who grace everyone with their kindness.

What 5 items do you always have in your purse?

Annelise: 1. Chapstick! 2. My cell phone. 3. Decaf tea bags. Restaurants never have the kind I like! 4. A nail file. I'm super-obsessed with square nails. I have to take care of them ASAP if I break one. 5. My glasses! I have an astigmatism so I need to keep them handy.

Do you have any phobias?

Annelise: I do NOT like spiders! EEK, they give me the heeby-jeebies.

If you could have one wish granted, what would it be?

Annelise: I would love to fly. It's been my dream since I was a little girl!

Three things that are always in my fridge:

Annelise: 1. Fat free milk. I LOVE cereal so milk always needs to be handy. 2. Chocolate syrup. You never know when an ice cream sundae craving will attack! 3. Lemon concentrate. I love my warm lemon water in the mornings!

Annelise: Recently became a Christian. I've been a church-goer my whole life, but just recently was Saved. It's a totally new thing that I talk about on my blog... but I'm completely embracing all of the love and the joy I've found so far!

What's your latest obsession?

Annelise: Leather bracelets! My favorite ones are from Payton Woodcraft (www.paytonwoodcraft.com). I can't get enough of the arm party you can make when layering multiple ones together!
