What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?

Rachel Emma: I am a full time student at the University of Texas!

Are there any style icons that inspire you? Who and how?

Rachel Emma: I get my style inspiration from casual bloggers around the web. They are real girls just like me, not the tall skinny models on runways that I can't relate to.

How are you able to stay fashionable without spending a lot of $$? What are your tips and where do you shop?

Rachel Emma: I try to stay away from the high-price stores otherwise I know I'll just end up spending more money than I'd like. I'll stick to the cheaper options like Forever 21, Target, and thrift stores. You can find some great pieces if you look hard enough!

What types of items do you like to save $ on and what do you splurge on?

Rachel Emma: I save money when it comes to jewelry. Why spend so much on things that look just as nice at the cheaper stores? I guess I tend to splurge more on shoes although it's not very often. I want my feet to be comfortable even if it means spending a few extra bucks.

In your opinion, every woman should own:

Rachel Emma: A maxi skirt. They're so comfortable!

One trend you would like to never see again is:

Rachel Emma: Ugg boots.

Do you keep your older clothes or do you like to keep your closet small and organized?

Rachel Emma: I still have all my old clothes back from when I was in high school. Sometime they come in handy! You never know what pieces can add the right touch to an outfit.

What's your latest obsession?

Rachel Emma: High-low skirts and anything neon.

Your most prized possession?

Rachel Emma: My camera!

Rachel Emma: The moment when I come home from school and get straight into my pajamas.
