An Interview with Nadia of Nadia Aboulhosn blog

My name is Nadia Aboulhosn. I just recently moved from Florida to New York City. I have been fashion blogging almost 3 years and am working in the near future toward my own fashion line.

This interview was published on Friday, June 08, 2012.

How would you describe your personal style?

Nadia: I view my personal style as bold and fearless.

Three things in your closet you cannot live without:

Nadia: My 80's leather jacket, my doorknocker lion earrings, and my black architecture pumps.

How are you able to stay fashionable without spending a lot of $$? What are your tips and where do you shop?

Nadia: The best way to save money is shopping vintage and thrift stores. They have the most inexpensive items that are most unique.

In your opinion, every woman should own:

Nadia: A leather jacket and extra high platform heels

A woman's most beautiful feature is her:

Nadia: Eyebrows.

One trend you would like to never see again is:

Nadia: Uggs.

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would play the lead role as you?

Nadia: Probably not because I don't think I'd be good at acting. That's a good question. haha. Maybe I would play it, so it would seem more realistic. That would be a great movie though haha.

What is your favorite thing to do in the summer?

Nadia: Be with my family.

What words do you live by?

Nadia: Life is about growth and change, when you are no longer doing that, that is your whisper to find out what else the world has to offer you

People would be surprised to know that I...

Nadia: am a perfectionist.

On my days off, you'll find me...

Nadia: I have no days off. The rate of success I want, I'm always on the move.

Best pick-me-up(s):

Nadia: Fashion has always been my best pick-me-up. Fashion and my family.

You have become such an inspiration to women everywhere. What is a message you would like to tell Smashion readers?

Nadia: Stay positive and don't let anyone else define you by any means.
