How would you describe your personal style?

Jennifer: I find myself being constantly drawn towards more bohemian and gypsy-inspired pieces, although I always like combining prints and wearing a lot of color. I love bold floral prints, tie dye, and crochet pieces. However, my style is rather erratic at times!

Who or what has been your greatest fashion influence?

Jennifer: I would say literature in general. When I read a book, I not only feel inspired by the clothing of that specific time period, but also by the characters and how I can emanate their personalities through the way I dress. Although, I do particularly love Nicole Richie's bohemian style.

What would be the one fashion tip you would give to a friend?

Jennifer: Don't worry about what other people will think about your outfit. If you can wear a garment with your head up high, you can pull it off.

Three things in your closet you cannot live without:

Jennifer: My long, taupe colored fingerless gloves. I NEVER take these off in the winter. I wear them even when taking notes in class! Also my H&M cheetah print bandage skirt, and my black, suede lace up booties!

What are you currently grooving to?

Jennifer: My friend introduced me to The Hush Sound this summer and ever since, I always have it playing in my room. I also love Arcade Fire, and some might be surprised, but I'm a huge fan of Robin Thicke because his music always relieves me of stress.

What inspires you?

Jennifer: Everything. Literature, film, music, photography, art, and the different styles of others all inspire me.

In your opinion, every woman should own:

Jennifer: A pair of well-fitted gloves.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Jennifer: Buying gloves! I have 8 pairs!!

What's your latest obsession?

Jennifer: I'm going through a sunglasses obsession right now. I never really wore them that often before but I recently stole/borrowed a pair of circle-framed sunglasses from my friend and he let me keep them! Now I see how well a good pair of sunglasses can add the finishing touch to an outfit!

I can't live without...

Jennifer: My two sheepdogs, Dolly and Charlie! I love them with all my heart and they keep me motivated when I just want to give up.

I am passionate about:

Jennifer: Robert Downey Jr. He is my favorite actor. Everyone who knows me in person knows not to say bad things about him around me unless they want to start a huge argument! ;)

What's the oldest thing you're wearing today? Is there a story behind it?

Jennifer: My black fedora hat. I saw Robin Thicke wearing a fedora in his Magic music video and sadly, that was already enough to persuade me to go hunt after one too.
