What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?

Nicole: I work for a local coffee company in the accounting department. I've been in accounting for the past 4 years. Not my dream job but it works for the time being!

How would you describe your personal style?

Nicole: Classic. Simple. Edgy. I'm a minimalist in the style department and stick to solid colors with an edgier design. I like classic pieces that I can wear and mix with trends as they come and go. I like leather, vintage T's, worn in jeans, big boots and heels!

What is your nerdiest hobby?

Nicole: I collect vintage bulldogs. I have about 7 so far and am always hunting for the next one to add to my collection.

3 fun facts about you:

Nicole: I am a mama to an 11 year old with an afro. I am covered in tattoos though they are rarely seen. I hate cooked fruit more than anything.

Nicole: Janelle Monae, she is stunning, full of soul and every song is unique!

What types of items do you like to save $ on and what do you splurge on?

Nicole: I like to save money on trendy items. No sense in spending good money on something that will be out of season in two months or even a year. I splurge on good classic pieces that will carry me into many seasons for years. Outerwear, shoes and handbags are always good things to invest in.

Nicole: A good pair of classic black heels. They go with everything and can dress up any outfit.

Nicole: Am an ordained Deacon. I got ordained to marry a couple of friends and have performed a few more weddings since then. I love it!

What's your latest obsession?

Nicole: Sabrina Tach leather bags. They are gorgeous!

Nicole: My Extended Play lipstick from MAC. It's the most perfect red I have ever seen.

Nicole: When I'm with my boys. They make me feel more beautiful and complete than anything else in the world.
