What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?

Ilana: I just left my administration job in December and I am currently looking for work in journalism or fashion. I am studying journalism full time it is my number 1 passion.

How would you describe your personal style?

Ilana: vintage romantic bohemian but sometimes I opt for a more causal edgy look. I find personal style changes on a daily basis depending on my mood or even the weather!

Where are you from and what are your top three favorite places to shop in your city?

Ilana: I am from Brisbane Australia. I generally hate shopping as I prefer online shopping now there is so much more variety! Also things in Australia are pretty expensive. If I had to choose my top 3 Australian retail stores to shop at would be Myer, Sportsgirl and Valleygirl

3 fun facts about you:

Ilana: my mum was going to name me Cassandra and opted for something more unique at the last minute! I have a belly button ring which I got when I was 19 after a bad break-up I used to be goth in high-school! black lipstick and all!

Biggest style splurge and/or deal:

Ilana: I try to buy things on sale that is my rule. The most expensive fashion item I have is probably my black Oroton handbag

Do you have a favorite fashion era? What did you love about it?

Ilana: I think every era had something fun about it but I would probably choose the 70s! I love the wide leg pants, bohemian style and relaxed way of life. My second choice would be the late 1950s or the 1930s the clothes were to die for!

Ilana: a classic white shirt and good quality black everyday handbag

What 5 items do you always have in your purse?

Ilana: my iPhone, lip balm, my wallet, tissues and my water bottle

4 things you can't live without:

Ilana: my iPhone, my cat and dog, my family and my Bass Washington loafers!

What's your latest obsession?

Ilana: platform Chelsea boots are so awesome right now

Ilana: so many! I like black and white best- I know boring- but so classy too!
