An Interview with Pari of Sound of Sweet Lullabies
Hello, I'm Pari from Sound of Sweet Lullabies. I'm a simple girl with many dreams who loves fashion passionately. I started my fashion blog to share my style and grow from the experience. I love photography, drawing/painting, yoga, wine and animals. I love the beach, the sun and the snow. I want to travel the world.
What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?
Pari: I've studied Interior Design. My last year of study was in Florence, and the architecture in europe really inspired me to pursue architecture. Thats why I'm currently back to university, but Design is my passion and something I want to do.
Who or what has been your greatest fashion influence?
Pari: I have a few people I look up to when it comes down to fashion and personal style. But to name a few of my favourites: Nicole Richie, Kate Bosworth and the Olsen Twins. My all time style icon is Audrey Hepburn. I love her elegance.
Where are you from and what are your top three favorite places to shop in your city?
Pari: I'm from Vancouver, Canada. I do most of my shopping online but otherwise I like to shop at Zara, Urban Outfitters and some local or Vintage stores.
3 fun facts about you:
Pari: I love doing yoga. I've travelled to 15 different countries. I have a kitty named "Cotton Candy"
What inspires you?
Pari: I think inspiration can be found in everything and anything. It depends on how you look at things. Depending on my mood I get inspired by the weather, the scenery, Trees, Art, music, animals and words (like quotes, poems, songs, etc)
Great fashion steal:
Pari: I'm constantly browsing the web for inspiration from other people: bloggers, models, celebrities. And when I see an outfit I like, I try to use it but make it my own. If I could choose to have someone's entire closet though, I think it would be Nicole Richie's.
What types of items do you like to save $ on and what do you splurge on?
Pari: I like to splurge when it comes to shoes. I have a big shoes collection and yet it's never enough. I try to save $ on everything else. I don't always succeed though.
What crazy activities do you dream of trying someday?
Pari: This is not crazy to a lot of people, but I would like to surf. I've never done it before and it's been on my mind for sometime now.
Three things that are always in my fridge:
Pari: I would say milk, apples and cheese.
What's your latest obsession?
Pari: I would have to say Alexander Wang bags. I don't own any but I stare at them for hours on my screen-slightly exaggerated- :)
My favorite color combo is...
Pari: Really depends on my mood what colors I use in my outfit. Simple black, white and greys are my favourite, but lately I've been experimenting with mixing colors.
My friends would describe me as...
Pari: A little shy at times, trustworthy and very chatty after a glass of wine.
