Who or what has been your greatest fashion influence?

Bessie: My greatest fashion influence has been my Mom. She taught me everything about style and is also my photographer on Bravoe Runway.

Who is/are your favorite shoe designer(s)?

Bessie: My favorite shoe designers are Christian Louboutin, Gucci, Jimmy Choo, and Casadei.

Three things in your closet you cannot live without:

Bessie: My closet could not survive without a great handbag, a versatile dress in a bold colour, and a black leather jacket.

Biggest style splurge and/or deal:

Bessie: I definitely spend the most on growing my handbag collection.

Do you have a favorite fashion era? What did you love about it?

Bessie: My favorite fashion era is the 1960s. I love the prints, the silhouettes found on dresses and skirts, and how everything was tailored to flatter a woman's figure.

What do you think is the hardest part about blogging?

Bessie: The hardest part about blogging is differentiating yourself. There are thousands of fashion blogs in existence, how do you appeal to the public while staying true to yourself?

What is the most rewarding part?

Bessie: The most rewarding part about blogging is seeing a consistent and growing number of members who are interested in reading what you have to say and just dying to give you their ideas.

A woman's most beautiful feature is her:

Bessie: Smile, how a woman smiles is quite telling of her herself.

What's your most important makeup tip?

Bessie: Always use primer under your foundation. A great primer will keep skin looking fresh and matte all day. I highly recommend Nars Pore Refining Primer, the bonus is that it has SPF too!

Favorite beauty product of all time? Why?

Bessie: Clarisonic! I've been using it for almost a year and it does a fantastic job removing my make-up. And because the cleansing process is thorough, it improves the absorption of serums and moisturizers.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Bessie: Food...if it is there, and it is in front of me...I'll help myself to it.

If you could have one wish granted, what would it be?

Bessie: My one wish I would love to have granted is to switch careers from my current day job in Finance to Marketing.
