What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?

Lauren: I work as an Assistant Psychologist for people with brain injuries. It sounds really scary but I love my job.

How would you describe your personal style?

Lauren: I'd say my style is feminine classic - I love nicely tailored pieces, dresses with nipped in waists and lots of skirts. I also think I'm a little bit different because I love sewing my own clothes

What is your nerdiest hobby?

Lauren: I really enjoy doing night school courses one night a week! I've just finished a level 2 qualification in Sign Language and I'm thinking of learning German next!

Where are you from and what are your top three favorite places to shop in your city?

Lauren: I am from Portsmouth in the UK. The shopping in Portsmouth isn't that special - all your usual chain stores such as Topshop etc. I love Gunwarf however which has amazing discount stores such as The Cosmetics Company, French Connection and a discount Cadbury's chocolate shop! yum!

Three things in your closet you cannot live without:

Lauren: My Chanel-style tweed jacket from Topshop this season; my favourite black jumpsuit I made a couple of months ago and my amazing green Zara party dress which fits all occasions!

3 fun facts about you:

Lauren: 1. I can do sign language! 2. I am terrible at impressions, they all end up sounding Yorkshire! 3. My boyfriend finds it hilarious that I can pull loads of strange faces including my repertoire of fish faces!

Favorite beauty product of all time? Why?

Lauren: I love liquid eyeliner. I think it really makes your face look "together" and makes my eyes look bigger. Plus I totally love the vintage 1950s-60s look and this makes me feel glamorous and retro.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Lauren: Other than being addicted to blogging? I really love cats! Not in a crazy cat lady way, but I love my little cat Button, looking at lolcats, and watching funny cat videos! When in Thailand this year, my boyfriend had to pry me away from all the stray cats who I wanted to rescue!

What bad habits drive you crazy?

Lauren: I don't know if it's a bad habit, but I can't stand it when people scrape forks or spoons on their teeth as they pull them out their mouthes. The sound drives me absolutely mad and I have to leave the room if someone is doing it! Even thinking about it makes me feel physically sick...

What words do you live by?

Lauren: Never sleep on an argument! I always have to make up with someone as soon as possible after a fight!

Three things that are always in my fridge:

Lauren: 1. Milk - I love a cup of tea and don't think I could function without it. 2. Cheese - I'm a bit addicted to cheese. I love cheddar, baked camenbert with crusty bread, brie, garlic cheese spreads. Yum! 3. Some sort of microwave meal for when I'm feeling lazy. I love macaroni cheese or lasagne

When I want to look cute, I put on...

Lauren: My favourite black skinny jeans; a floaty, sheer, feminine shirt over a strappy vest; my favourite black pumps and my Chanel-style tweed jacket with a flower in my hair! Probably not cute in the conventional sense but I feel cute which gives me confidence!
