What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?

melziebabee: I am in the hunt to find a full time elementary teaching position. This summer I'm teaching at a summer school.

How would you describe your personal style?

melziebabee: I wish I had a defining characteristic for my style. I'm kind of all over the place..I would say comfy chic.

Who is/are your favorite shoe designer(s)?

melziebabee: I really love Nine West shoes for their comfort, Steve Madden, Chinese Laundry. My higher end obsessions include Coach and Stuart Weitzman.

What is your fantasy splurge?

melziebabee: A pair of Manolos. What girl isn't obsessed with them thanks to Carrie and Co?

Where are you from and what are your top three favorite places to shop in your city?

melziebabee: I'm from right outside of NYC. New York City is my shopping playground. My faves are the F21 in Union Square, all Housing Works locations (amazing thrift shops) and city street fairs and flea markets (Hells Kitchen has a fab one!)

Three things in your closet you cannot live without:

melziebabee: My fave pair of skinnies (from F21), my tan Coach sling bag and my black patent Stuart Weitzman's
