How would you describe your personal style?

Ashley: I have been labeling my "style" as vintage, romantic and preppy for so long but I just discovered recently how contradicting I can be..

What is your nerdiest hobby?

Ashley: From time to time, I list down unrecognized words and their meanings from a dictionary to my journal.

Where are you from and what are your top three favorite places to shop in your city?

Ashley: I'm currently a resident of Japan but I'm originally from the Philippines. In Japan, I love to shop at vintage stores although it's incredibly expensive so I go to some local shops such as Liz Lisa, Igni and Cinema Club. And of course I shop at high street brands, my favorite is Zara.

3 fun facts about you:

Ashley: 1. My dream is to be able to read Norwegian Wood in Kanji (Japanese characters) 2. I sing off-key 3. I have an oyster personality, tough on the outside and soft inside!

What are you currently grooving to?

Ashley: I'm enjoying local tourism. Just this month, I've been to Yashiro, Kobe Kita and Okayama!

What types of items do you like to save $ on and what do you splurge on?

Ashley: Contrary to popular belief, I am a cheapskate when it comes to clothes! I rarely buy items that are not at least 30% off! I splurge on food and gadgets!

One trend you would like to never see again is:

Ashley: Crocs!

Ashley: My planner, wallet, iPhone 4, Blackberry Bold and a 0.4 sign pen

What are key pieces from your wardrobe that you find yourself wearing over and over?

Ashley: A chiffon full length skirt!
