What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?

Brianne: I work for a New England living history museum in the Development (fund-raising) Department.

What are you currently grooving to?

Brianne: I have always loved "oldies". My favorite groups are The Temptations, The Beach Boys, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones.

Favorite item of clothing in your closet:

Brianne: Since I have an office job, I constantly wear work appropriate basics like a black pencil skirt, a black wrap dress, and black ballet flats.

Flats or stilettos?

Brianne: I love heels, but you can usually find me in flats.

How are you able to stay fashionable without spending a lot of $$? What are your tips and where do you shop?

Brianne: I love shopping at the thrift store Savers and online on Ebay. If I see something in a store that I really like, I usually check Ebay first to see if I can find it for less money. My favorite store is J Crew, and I always wait for their extra 30% off sales instead of paying full price.

What 5 items do you always have in your purse?

Brianne: My cell phone, hand sanitizer, sunglasses, a key to my office, and lip gloss.

What are key pieces from your wardrobe that you find yourself wearing over and over?

Brianne: Definitely basics. My Alternative Apparel tee, my favorite black leggings, black ballet flats, and black tights in winter. I am just noticing that I wear a lot of black!

What's your most important makeup tip?

Brianne: Mascara can make the world of difference!

Favorite beauty product of all time? Why?

Brianne: Dr Hauschka Rose Day Cream. I LOVE the way it smells!
