Who or what has been your greatest fashion influence?

Kelsey: My nana. She is 100% fabulous with her popped collars, layering skills, red lipstick, high heels, teased hair, leather pants and zebra print bikinis. As stunning as she is, from her I learned that beauty comes from within.

What is your nerdiest hobby?

Kelsey: I think at its core, blogging is quite nerdy! I also love to read, play dress up and take photos.

Three things in your closet you cannot live without:

Kelsey: My most prized items are my pink Esprit flats that I got in New York City, my American Eagle denim jeggings and my gray American Apparel cardigan.

3 fun facts about you:

Kelsey: 1. I'm happiest when I'm eating. 2. I always care how I look, even if it doesn't look like I do. 3. When I got married, I changed my middle name to my maiden name (Christianson).

What inspires you?

Kelsey: The way kids dress themselves, brilliant photography and paint colors.

How are you able to stay fashionable without spending a lot of $$? What are your tips and where do you shop?

Kelsey: I shop for inspiration more than I shop for clothes. And I really think about every purchase. Is this a dream item I can't pass up? Does it fit my body well? Will I stand out? I don't buy things I don't love. I do most of my shopping online, and most of my clothes are from American Apparel.

What types of items do you like to save $ on and what do you splurge on?

Kelsey: I like to save on everything. Ha! But, I have and will splurge on jeans, statement and unique items, and boots or other quality items I know I'll wear for many years. Most times, I'd rather buy one special shirt for $40 than two for $20.

In your opinion, every woman should own:

Kelsey: Something that makes her feel fabulous! It might be a pair of skinny jeans or a fun dress, but it should ensue confidence!

What are key pieces from your wardrobe that you find yourself wearing over and over?

Kelsey: Jeggings, cardigans, headbands, nerd glasses and scarves!

Do you have any comfort foods and what memories do you have associated with them?

Kelsey: I am a picky eater, but I have a strong love for bacon! I love it on pizza, in pasta, on burgers...you name it. Yum!

Kelsey: Juice boxes, bacon and Ben & Jerry's Half Baked ice cream

What bad habits drive you crazy?

Kelsey: Being quick to anger, and not being able to admit you were wrong.
