An Interview with Cindy of Hippie Gone Mad
Hippie Gone Mad is a visual diary of a megatown girl’s alter ego that finally finds her way to shine. She’s a lil bit experimental especially in fashion and of course she has a love and hate relationship with a devilish thing called FOOD. Everybody knows that she's a SHOE MANIAC.She's a mad hippie who sometimes loves peace and a minute later loves to do rebellious act without a cause.
How would you describe your personal style?
Cindy: i'm a lil bit experimental, it really depends on my mood. i wear everything that makes me feel good about myself, edgy and fierce with a touch of vintage maybe?
Where are you from and what are your top three favorite places to shop in your city?
Cindy: i'm from Jakarta,Indonesia. i love to go to Zara, level one and pasar baru(jakarta'a biggest thrift store) to shop.
3 fun facts about you:
Cindy: i speak basic italian, i'm a good cook and i design+sew my prom dress by myself!
What inspires you?
Cindy: I love mary kate and ashley, they are my daily inspiration. local + international bloggers inspire me a lot too and last but not least my grandma used to be a model when she was young, she has a VERY good sense of style to date, she's one of my biggest inspiration.
Favorite item of clothing in your closet:
Cindy: my mom's vintage mermaid dress, it's a night gown made out of sateen silk and sequin. it was drop dead gorgeous!
One trend you would like to never see again is:
Cindy: ugg boots and crocs perhaps?
What 5 items do you always have in your purse?
Cindy: handphone, eyeliner, orange lipstick, wallet, perfume
What are key pieces from your wardrobe that you find yourself wearing over and over?
Cindy: i love my vintage nude chiffon shirt! i can't stop wearing it over and over again! it's so comfortable to wear and i could wear it with almost everything.
Favorite beauty product of all time? Why?
Cindy: Beyonce glittery body lotion, smells delicious and it makes my skin glow!!

Cindy: my vintage gucci watch

Cindy: eggs, ice cubes and bars of chocolate!!
Do you have any comfort foods and what memories do you have associated with them?
Cindy: YESS of course i have plenty of em!my mom's corn soup is my most favorite comfort food. it's so delicious, homey and warm. it makes me happy everytime i eat it lol.
