How did you come up with your blog name?

Jenna: I moved across the country when I was 19. I started blogging so my family and friends could see my new life in CA. My face is full of freckles in the summer like my mom. I have these huge blue eyes like my dad, similar to huskies. That's when The Freckled Husky was born.

What is your nerdiest hobby?

Jenna: I enjoy going to fossil/geode shops. I love observing the stones, plus I get great ideas for my jewelry!

3 fun facts about you:

Jenna: 1) I won a fishing tournament when I was 8 years old for catching an Albino Catfish. 2) I'm oddly flexible 3) This year I learned how to snowboard and now I'm addicted.

What are you currently grooving to?

Jenna: Adele, Frank Sinatra, Katy Perry, John Legend and recently house music.

How are you able to stay fashionable without spending a lot of $$? What are your tips and where do you shop?

Jenna: Almost everything I own is thrifted or 60% off. I shop at Goodwill, The Salvation Army, Wasteland, & flea markets. Tips: Give yourself time to go shopping. Write a list of things you want to wear this season. Have an open mind because you're searching for one of a kind pieces!

What types of items do you like to save $ on and what do you splurge on?

Jenna: I save money on basics like t-shirts, denim shorts and dresses. It's always fun to find pieces with potential and make them your own! Splurge: heels, underwear and Donna Karen deoterant from Nordstrom's.

In your opinion, every woman should own:

Jenna: Great underwear! Thongs, boy shorts, push-up and lace bras. I think it really makes a woman feel sexy for herself.

One trend you would like to never see again is:

Jenna: I would love for colored leggings and see through lace tops to disappear. Women have beautiful figures and men enjoy a little mystery.

What 5 items do you always have in your purse?

Jenna: I always have my Ralph Lauren make-up bag, TFH business cards, wallet, blackberry and gum.

What are key pieces from your wardrobe that you find yourself wearing over and over?

Jenna: I recently bought leather shorts from a thrift shop and I'm obsessed with them! I always sport my jewelry from The Freckled Husky, DIY levi cut offs, H&M boy's cargo jacket and my fringe sandals from forever 21.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Jenna: I'm addicted to snacking. I literally graze like a cow all day long.

On the first day of hot weather, you'll find me:

Jenna: Wearing demin cut offs, a cotton breezy t-shirt, my hair in a wild messy bun and aviators too big for my face!

Three things that are always in my fridge:

Jenna: I actually cook a lot for my job. It's really fun baking a creating meals I've never tried before. Three common things in the fringe are Feta cheese, rasberry lemonade (signature summer drink) and veggies. Lots of veggies!
