How did you come up with your blog name?

Alison: I had a super long name and decided to change it a couple years ago and get my own domain. Asked for some suggestions and my best friend offered Wardrobe Oxygen because my blog advice breathes life into wardrobes. Loved it and it stuck!

What do you think it means to have a personal style?

Alison: It means knowing who you are and displaying it proudly with your clothing, your choices, your attitude.

What types of items do you like to save $ on and what do you splurge on?

Alison: I like to save on most things, but am not afraid to splurge on my hair, my skin, and my handbag. These are the three things a woman wears every day, regardless of her choice of fashion.

In your opinion, every woman should own:

Alison: A simple black dress, black pumps, great-fitting jeans, and a pair of fabulous shoes that makes her feel fierce!

A woman's most beautiful feature is her:

Alison: Confident smile!

One trend you would like to never see again is:

Alison: Jelly shoes - I mean REALLY, how do these come back in style every few years?

4 favorite fashion accessories:

Alison: My silver cuff, silver hoops, a big slouchy leather bag, and leopard print heels

4 things you can't live without:

Alison: A journal and medium-point black ball point pen, My Camelbak water bottle (an adult sippy cup), my iPod, my family

Favorite beauty product of all time? Why?

Alison: Revlon ColorStay shadow quad in Neutral Khakis - it is the perfect collection of colors for a simple day look or to make a warm smoky eye. And it's true - the color stays all day, even in humid Washington DC summers! Other than that, DiorShow mascara, nothing else can compare to it's fabulousness!

Your most worn shoes:

Alison: My black peeptoe ankle booties - I swear they are the most comfortable shoes I own, I can walk for miles in them!

What is your hidden talent?

Alison: I am an ordained minister and have married many happy couples over the past few years!
