What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?

Gabrielle: I just landed my dream job as The Levi's Girl, where I blog for the Levi's brand. I am learning so much about PR and how to turn my own blog into a business when this job is over. Before Levi's I was teaching at a museum in Manhattan.

How would you describe your personal style?

Gabrielle: Eclectic... but if I had to adhere to a style, it would be bohemian. I love finding vintage items at thrift shops and pairing them with newer items. I think I was a hippie in my past life.

What is your nerdiest hobby?

Gabrielle: I am a huge history buff, everything from ancient Rome to the French Revolution to McCarthyism. I think it has a lot to do with my appreciation for old clothes and furniture.

What would be the one fashion tip you would give to a friend?

Gabrielle: Don't wear something you feel uncomfortable in- physically and emotionally. If you are uncomfortable in your clothes, it shows.

Three things in your closet you cannot live without:

Gabrielle: cowboy boots, leggings, a denim jacket

3 fun facts about you:

Gabrielle: When I was little, I waned to grow up to be a Neil Diamond impersonator (don't ask!). I love babies with glasses and dogs in clothes. I'm a big Star Wars fan.

What is your favorite dessert?

Gabrielle: Water ice in a cone. I don't like ice cream.

How are you able to stay fashionable without spending a lot of $$? What are your tips and where do you shop?

Gabrielle: I make lists of items I want and think I need. This keeps me from making too many impsulive purchases. When I want to be impulsive I go to Goodwill or Forever21- my guilt-free stores.

In your opinion, every woman should own:

Gabrielle: one item that makes her feel like a totally different woman. Styling a new outfit should transform you into a new personality. Sometimes it's a pair of nerdy glasses or a sexy maxi dress.

A woman's most beautiful feature is her:

Gabrielle: confidence.

One trend you would like to never see again is:

Gabrielle: White eyeshadow/eye liner. It makes people look like aliens.

Gabrielle: Feather hair extensions. Socks/Tights with sandals. Layered bracelets. Fake eyelashes.
