What do you do when you're not blogging? What is your job?

Kathleen: When I'm not blogging I'm working and writing. I also like doing things not related to fashion such as sports and fitness. Arts, culture, music & traveling are things I also enjoy so going to events & festivals are always interesting. Also, getting together with friends and of course..shopping!

How did you come up with your blog name?

Kathleen: I wanted my blog name to incorporate the words "style" or "fashion" and to be direct and to the point. I randomly chose the word "ice" because I love wearing jewelry & come from a city where it can get really cold. But it has a nice ring to it and I suppose it could mean many things!

How would you describe your personal style?

Kathleen: My personal style is ever changing and never the same. At times I go through phases such as the grunge or preppy phase then move on and try something new. I like experimenting with new looks and think that's the beauty and fun of fashion.

What would be the one fashion tip you would give to a friend?

Kathleen: One fashion tip I would give is to wear clothes that flatter your body type. There could be a trend that is all the rage but may not be the best look for you. Clothing looks best when it fits properly.

What is your fantasy splurge?

Kathleen: My fantasy splurge would be (surprise surprise!) jewelry or accessories. Anything by Alexander McQueen would just be amazing to own.

What are you currently grooving to?

Kathleen: Another thing I enjoy besides fashion is music and I listen to quite the variety of music. Like my style, it's always changing. But right now some of my playlist includes: Two Door Cinema Club, Robyn, Mumford & Sons, Kings of Leon, Nicki Minaj, Lady Gaga, Ra Ra Riot, Saosin...and the list goes on.

How are you able to stay fashionable without spending a lot of $$? What are your tips and where do you shop?

Kathleen: I tend to buy staple pieces and wear them through the seasons, then add on trendy items or anything that could update my outfits. Sales are a great way to save money on clothes and vintage shops usually carry unique items. Also, try looking in you mom's closet! You might find hidden treasures!

Kathleen: A statement piece of jewelry.

Kathleen: Bold ring, leather purse, super high wedges and standout pair of sunglasses

What are key pieces from your wardrobe that you find yourself wearing over and over?

Kathleen: Definitely accessories! Bold jewelry and bags are a great way to update or change how an outfit looks. I have a few rings that I wear over and over all the time and the same goes for necklaces. The great thing about this is you can mix and match within your own wardrobe creating new looks.
