Ok, I can understand the vest trend. They can be dressy or casual, and they can make the simplest boyfriend tank look trendy.

Here's what I dont understand: Fur Vests. I just dont see the appeal of wrapping your torso in a racoon or whatever it may be.  Phillip Lim featured an outfit in his fall 2009 line that had an adorable silk leopard print dress with a fur vest. I don't like fur in general, but lets say it was faux, can that really be worn with an everyday outfit?

Fur is a very occasional wear, it is very hard to teem up fur outfits with everyday wear. Personally I don't prefer 'fur', because inorder to make a few fur clothes numerous animals are being slaugthered. These kinds of inhenious acts are not necessary to make some great fashion statements by sporting fur garments. I do not find 'fur' treny or fancy either, it just reflects aristocracy.
