I recently went on a trip with my friend to Singapore. It's truly a shopper's heaven! Nearly every train stop has a mall or department store attached to it, or at least one a few steps away. I think it's the most number of malls I've been to in a day.

I spent one whole afternoon at Orchard Road and I don't think I was able to cover the entire area. My favorite is Ngee Ann City because it has the bookstore Kinokuniya and this art store on the 4th floor, as well as Takashimaya Department Store. ION mall is also a great place.

What shopping places have you been to?

I know what you mean. I went to Singapore last year and I was overwhelmed by the number of department stores and shops. It was the first time I saw designer brands sitting side by side each other. Same goes for Malaysia's Suria KLCC, the upscale shopping area at the bottom of the Petronas Towers.

Hmm, I've been to a few shopping meccas but I get overwhelmed at those places. Where I really enjoy shopping is at night markets, shopping streets and fairs. New York comes to mind; I love all those little shops and boutiques that pop up at every corner and have trinkets lining the walls from floor to ceiling. I could spend hours in those stores.
