Pulling off the Asian look is not that hard, as long as you don’t go overboard. I think it also helps if you have a cute hair cut and makeup that enhances your eyes. I’ve seen a lot of Asian ensembles look better with people wearing circle lenses, those that make your pupils look big! Just a thought. :) |

Asian style is SO cute but looks like it takes a lot of time to put together. It isn't exactly effortless and that's usually my style! LOL Imagine what time you have to get up in the morning in order for you to step out of the house looking like this. The makeup alone is

They can always pull off all the best shoes too that I could never be caught dead in, despite how obsessed with them I am. You just have to have that delicate, petite kinda thing going on. For example the look of Jeffrey Campbell's infamous platforms are SO adorable but I would look like a fool / giant in some sort of halloween getup if I ever wore them in public |

I'm Asian, and I don't think I can pull this off quite well haha. Though I do like the hair styles and the cute t-shirts. I love the long, dressy shirts you can pair with shorts or leggings. It makes me look slimmer. Layering seems to be the choice for most Asian fashion, as well as partnering pieces that seem to contrast with each other. My friend went to Shibuya a few months ago. Now she's quite the fashionista, but when she got there, she said she looked so plain & ordinary. I love how each style is a personal statement of the person, and not just an emulation of the fashion trend. |

Shibuya is just out of this world. You really have to make an effort to even get a second look there! It's nice to look at but I really cannot be spending that much time (and not to mention money) on clothes. I feel exhausted just looking at them. But can't deny that they're eye candy. :) |

Asian style is indeed all about layering. If you're on a budget but would like to achieve this look, you can check out thirft shops and buy the pieces separately. I do a lot of thrift shopping and I've come across quite a lot of great clothes. While I can't pull off the Asian look, there's still a lot of good things I can get from that style. The shirts are quite cool! |

Just saw this blog called Mellow Mayoness run by a Hong Kong-based girl named Mayo Wo. She is the epitome of Asian style. Well, for me anyways. The things she put together would look good only on Asians! Some of my favorite looks from her:
