Super long nails? RSS Feed

long nails can be very elegant but I think there is a surprisingly fine line between elegant and trashy. Throughout history, long, healthy nails have been regarded as classy and feminine but with acrylics these days, women are able to have nails that are longer than ever. I personally love a little length to my nails (the key is religiously keeping up with clear Sally Hanson nail strengthener!) but think that once they start to inhibit functionality, they're beyond long enough. I hate to see fake nails that are so long they look like talons curling over the tops of one's fingers. And the pointed nail trend that caught on in Hollywood for a while among some of the biggest female stars was so ridiculous and downright scary!!
