Bustiers are big nowadays! Would you wear a bustier for work or even during a night out? how would you wear it? I’m starting to feel al little afraid that I’d look too skanky in bustiers, but here are a few photos from the runway. So jealous! :/

Wow those bustiers look great. I think I can wear them because they don’t stand out that much on me – I don’t wear cup D underwear so I can wear them without looking like I’m going clubbing. I’d go for a simple bustier and perhaps a blousy skirt that goes a little above my knees. :)

Bustiers don’t have to look like they’re innerwear. Yes I think bustiers are really big. I like wearing them with my business suits, they add a little personality. I also like tucking them into high waisted shorts and then I’d wear a blazer over it…

I love bustiers but I have yet to find one that looks dressed up and not like it's really lingerie. I would wear the one from LV the way Emma Watson wore hers at the Glastonbury festival last year:

I like bustiers, they are sexy and dramatic. I would wear them to work with structured trousers or to a night out with jeans or a short skirt. I don't find them inappropriate at all especially when worn with class and good taste like how they did it in one of the latest LV collections

Quite true! Bustiers don’t have to look like inner wear at all! They highlight a woman’s curves but they can still be worn with good taste. I just hope I get to maintain my figure long enough to look good in my bustier! ^_^

all of the bustiers in the pictures above are matched with the rest of an ensemble to look like part of an outfit. I think the ideas of trashy or cheapness comes into play when the ensemble looks too mismatched. That would be the fashion faux-pa. Matching the bustier with classic items such as blazers, dress pants, long skirts etc, seems to be the way to go. Match it with a pair of booty shorts and you've got the wrong idea entirely.

I can totally agree with Jen.. although I would never wear one, if I had to I would definitely match it with a blazer and a pair of skinny jeans maybe. Wearing it with anything else is awful in my opinion.

I don't mind how they look. I own one, but never end up wearing it though. I put it on and I feel self conscious like my boobs are going to spill out all over the place. Hm. Maybe I should list it on here! Ha.
