I have Asian skin and it's been really hard to find a foundation that has my skin color. For the past five years, I've been using L'Oreal's Tru Match foundation in W3 or W4. It's great and it totally complements my skin color. However, in high humidity days, it gets oily and that's the only down side I've found.

So, what foundation do you use?

You should definitely try Revlon Colorstay. It's light, but full coverage. It's comparable to Estee Lauder's liquid foundation. :)

I use mac studio fix. It has a natural finish. Not oily. Feels like my skin can breathe even with the foundation on.

Wow, this is one thing I never pay any attention to. I've been using the same powder foundation since I was a teen and I think it's high time I upgraded to more expensive and more age appropriate brands!

Any no-fail suggestions for a newbie like me? I'm not big on experimenting with or spending a lot on makeup and just tend to grab the first thing I see...

@miawinskie: What color? Or does it come in just one color and blends with the skin. I like the yellow tones of L'oreal and 90% of the time it works for me, but those humid days are not much fun... so, I'm willing to try new ones.

I use Mac Foundation. Try going to JcPenney and go talk to one of the employees about finding the right shade for your skin.

I notice that Mac's the popular brand for foundation here. I know Mac is an expensive makeup brand. Is it worth buying for someone who uses makeup very seldomly?

I'm trying this one out from Maybelline. I've had good results with their products so far, and they're relatively affordable for me.

I use three different foundations, depending on the occassion. But I only use one brand... Lancome. Wink
