They say black is back. Has it ever been “out”? Are you fond of wearing black, or does black bore you? Is it a color you wanna wear everyday? How do you accessorize when you’re wearing black? Let’s all share our different tips… :)

I like mixing my black items with other patterns. Patterned clothes with block blacks, I’d say. It keeps other people from remembering which black clothes I own because the patterns distract them… Cool

I don't think black has ever been out. My favorite pieces in my closet are mostly black and I don't find it boring either. I feel elegant and more comfortable in it. Also, black flatters my body type and is very sexy and appealing. I usually mix it with colors that goes well with it like red and white.

I'd like to add up to what I have said. We can go all black without looking boring. It all depends on the details of your outfit. It should somehow show off some personality or it can be as simple but not too blunt. Take these pictures as example. These ladies were able to pull off an entire black outfit by accentuating those with really glam tights, heels and booties. They look so feminine and classy.

I usually wear red shoes for an all black outfit.;)

I quite like an all black outfit, but I try to add color as well. Sometimes I do that with a colorful bag, or a whimsical hat. I have several colorful bonnets and beanies I wear out when the weather's cool. Scarves too.

Red shoes are great too! It provides a nice "surprise!" for an monochromatic outfit. :D

I love wearing head to toe black. I don't need to think about mixing and matching, plus it's a fashionable look in an instant! :)

Black with a splash of color, like with a belt, or my shoes! If I'm feeling particularly funky and wearing a skirt: colored knee socks. :D

I've got more black than I know what to do with, I have worn it for years and won't be stopping because of what anyone else say's. I think two things come to mind. It goes with everything, there is no "matchy matchy" when it comes to shoes, bags, etc... since it's a "non" color.

Nothing worse than a color where someone matches their bag and shoes to pull their outfit together. Black shoes, boots, flats, heels, platforms, Uggs, anything... goes with everything. So, the "non-color", "no-brainer" is one reason I like black.

I must say, it does tend to hide your body, but nothing is going to cover major flaws, even black. I LOVE black...

OMG leeeeenda, are those pictures from your own closet? You weren't kidding when you said you had a lot of black!

I arrange my closet according to color too and we've got the black in the same place - right first in line because they're the clothes that get used the most! :)

I love black! Black is a great staple color to have in you wardrobe because it literally goes with everything.. except Navy lol I like to pair my black with neutrals and bold colors to make a statement.

I think black gets worn more than other colors because it flatters and body type and coloring. It's also a great backdrop for accessories that you want to showcase. Imagine a bright turquoise necklace against that dark background. If that doesn't capture attention, I don't know what else would you do.

I totally agree with what you said: there’s no such thing as being “matchy-matchy” even when your black shoes match your black bag! but when you’re carrying a red bag and your shoes are also red, it does look a little too prep school. Black is like the perfect excuse to wear bags and shoes in the same color!

Squeal. With a nice chunky cuff bracelet and matching earrings. Jewelry - as my mother always said. Put it all on, then take one thing off before you leave the house.

Watch, necklace, bracelet, ring, earrings, ( take off necklace or ring )

Always seemed like a good rule of thumb.
