I try to return them ASAP to the store, but that usually doesn't happen. Lol. Everything just ends up sitting in my makeup drawer until my little sister goes through it.
Makeup is never a waste in my book. Sometimes you can combine a lipgloss that isn't your color with another to create a better shade. If you buy bronzer that's too dark, try mixing it with a lighter powder you have. You'll be amazed at the combinations you can make!
I like it that you try not to waste your makeup. I have a lot lying around as well because I have made a few mistakes before – wrong foundation color, lipstick that’s too pink, etc. Now, you gave me an idea!
i pass them on to my sisters. i have two younger sisters who absolutely love my makeup. when i end up buying something that doesn't really look that great on second thought, my sisters lap them up. they always look great with any shade, i envy them!
