Discounted items are definitely a steal, especially if you've been craving for them since day one. I once went to Mango and saw this beautiful LBD that i simply just had to have! Of course, the price tag made me want to bawl like a baby, so I made a promise to hold off until the sale season comes along.

Finally, the LBD was on sale. I bought it - together with a handful of other items. Guess what, I ended up spending more than I would have if I just bought the dress before the sale! Surprised

Although everything was a "steal", perhaps shopping during the sale season empties my pockets more than during regular days. How about you, have you noticed the same thing happening when you go shopping for sale items? Laughing

I couldn't agree with you more. I tend to spend more on sale season than on regular days. It seems like there's a magnet on those price tags. Even if I know that the prices are still high, I can't help myself but try the items on and just a swoosh, I end up paying for them. I believe that this is one of my guilty pleasures.
