I want them really badly but I'm hesitant about buying them. I've spent over 400 dollars on handbags before but for some reason I'm worried about spending 120 on a pair of ugg boots.

Some TJ Maxx stores have Uggs.  You won't find the latest styles there but you don't have to spend $120 either. My friend bought a pair for 60 or 70 dollars last December.

I'd spend more on handbags too.  They last longer, not to mention I can carry handbags in four season :-).

Now-a-days you can get some great Ugg look-a-likes that are soooo much cheaper. I'd say save the money for a handbag and go for the less expensive "fUggs"--It's kind of hard to make a fluffy shapeless shoes uncomfortable, so not much to worry about!

They're a bit expensive but you won't regret buying it I promise you.  It is super comfy and super durable, it will last for years.  I'm a bag person myself but I wouldn't mind spending on other investment pieces. I know a pair of uggs is not really in the same level as the usual investment pieces like the classic black pumps or that timeless white crisp shirt or a set of pearls or a rolex oyster watch but then you'll be using them for a season or two each year.  If you don't have to buy the same item or similar item for one purpose each year, that's a good reason. But that's just me, I am not sure if the cheaper ones are as durable.  If they are then it's okay to get the cheaper one.

I actually want to buy a pair of Uggs just so I can say I've tried them and I can tell the world what I think about them. They may not be as fancy as any other investment piece I can get for their price, but hey, I get to live only once! ^_^

I am on my **second** pair of those exact same boots. They are one of the best things I've ever bought. I wear them ALL the time. Winter, summer, skirts, shorts, jeans, and I've never tried it, but probably a bathing suit and they'd still work.

Those are the classic height and color... go for it!!

I SWEAR to you, it will be the best $120 you'll spend - you'll love them and live in them.

I'm on my second pair of the tan high ones. They seem to go best with everything.

how are your uggs? are they as comfortable as they promised to be? worth the money, or would you rather swap them with killer heels or perhaps another pair (or two!) of boots? do share! :)

I LOVE my Uggs! Let me just say that I always swore that I would never own a pair because every girl in San Diego has them and wears them all year, even with shorts, so I didn't want to fall victim to this fashion trend. But I moved to Virginia 2 years ago and their winters are a heck of a lot colder than any I've ever experienced before, so I caved and bought a pair.... I don't know how I ever lived without them. I wore them out with jeans and also inside with sweats. Now that I'm back on the west coast I don't need them as often but last January when I had my daughter, I wore them to and from the hospital...they're THAT comfortable! And totally worth every penny you spend on them. Note that they tend to run small and they don't have half sizes so make sure you try them on before you purchase them.

My first instinct was that I loved Uggs when I first saw them. But they’ve been receiving a lot of hate, which made me question my taste in footwear, hehe! But I see more and more people loving them, so I’ll just stay true to my own taste!

I’ve always been a believer of comfort in fashion… if it’s not comfortable, don’t get it. so if something is comfortable, I will definitely consider it. and when it’s pretty like a pair of Uggs, why not? They’re not ugly to me…

Is it ugg boot season again? Geez, time flies by so fast. It feels like summer was just yesterday!

Anyway, for those looking for a good deal on sheepskin boots, 6pm.com is holding a 30 to 40% off sale on all their EMU Australia boots. It's another brand of sheepskin boots and I hear their Stinger Tall boots are even better than the ones from UGG Australia.
