I have seen zipper jewelries on several fashion blogs and I couldn't help but get astounded by the creativity of the designers. Check out Kate Cusack zipper jewelry collection.

Lovely. I have not seen zipper jewelry quite like in the first picture you posted. Zipper jewelry is often boxed into the punk genre, but these look delicate and feminine! |

These are awesome! I checked the site and it gave me ideas! I just don't know if people who are allergic can stand the teeth staying long stuck by the skin especially for the nape part. With so much length in zipper each is already costly on its own! I think I like this:

That whole site is pretty interesting actually. Did you check out the sculptural/wearable page? Some of the pieces there are out of this world! There's the book dress, a bubble wrap dress, and a plastic wrap wig. But I'm getting off topic -- here's the zipper jewelry that I liked! |

Now that you mentioned it, I got back to look. The books were really not good. How can one move around with it??? The flower pins (like the green one above) is outrageos (price!). i can make that and charge half and i'll still be happy! :P |

The zipper necklaces and bracelets are beautiful, but they are way too costly. I think it's the way fashion works, the designers get a ton of money for their unique creations, but then again not everyone can afford their designs. |

Exactly! It seem there is some psychology in here. If you jack up your prices, the rich will be your market, then they have the money to pay. If you put your prices low, the rich won't like it and say they're cheap. The poor can buy it but that gives little to the creator so I guess they really meant to jack up their prices to target those who got the money. |

They are indeed pricey but I guess we are paying for the creativity and effort put in to finish one accessory, rather than the material alone. |

Okay I'm too lazy to go back and check for prices. Can someone please post how much these zipper jewerly are going for on the website? Oh and yes, I agree, some of the designs do look exquisite but there are a few that look plain and ordinary too. Ex. the zipper pin. |
