For anyone who hasn't heard, David and Victoria just named their new baby girl Harper Seven Beckham (LOVE). Whether you're a fan of the name or not, the question on everyone's minds of course is why?? Is this just another example of wanting the name to stand out (Gwyneth's baby Apple comes to mind) or if not, what is the real significance?

It's recently been reported that Harper is just an old English name that Victoria has always liked, while the name Seven has lots of significance for the power couple. Seven is obviously a lucky number, but it's also David Beckham's soccer jersey number, as well as the month of the baby's birth, and the hour to boot !

I think it's a beautiful name and there's not a doubt in my mind that she will grow up to be a helen-of-troy-caliber beauty  but what does everyone else think? Like it or leave it? And while we're on the subject what do you think about celeb babies like poor Apple Martin or Coco Arquette etc.?

I like the Harper part, not so sure about the Seven. Oh well, at least it's not "Audio Science"! LOL

Ivanka Trump just gave birth about a week ago I think and she gave her baby a wonderful name. Arabella Rose. One of the prettiest celebrity baby names I've heard in a while IMO.

I didn't really react much to the Harper part as I do know it's an old English name (although from what I know, it's usually used as a second name rather than as a first), and I know it's used mostly by males. Seven is an unusual choice, but it makes for an interesting name.

I think the kid can be saddled with far worse names than Harper Seven. :)
