I think burberrys coats are really safe, I mean they don't go out of style. After years of having them, you can still go out and it'll still have the same effect -- Gorgeous. So, if I am going to splurge on something, I will on these..

I totally agree on Burberry's fashion durability. My best friend loves Burberry, and she still has a lot of the clothes she used to wear when we were kids. She's keeping it for her future daughters and personally, I think it'll definitely hold well against the newer fashions.

I like the second coat. It's really nice and doesn't stand out much. It looks classy too, and something I can wear with most of my outfits.

If you go for the classic Burberry trench coats, then yeah, they're safe. But not THIS collection! :)

The new collection is amazing but yea, I think I will just invest on the classics. They never go out of style.:)

See if I was going to go buy a splurge coat by Burberry, I would go with their new line.  I know it will go out of style but I really like them.

I feel like the first picture will certainly get dated, but the second coat choice would be the safer pick for staying in style the longest. I really like the second choice!

Funny, I was thinking the opposite haha. Still, both those styles are safer choices over the last one. Then again, these girls aren't thinking of "safe" or anything that they can re-use. I'd definitely pick the first over the others.

Same here sammir58. I think this Burberry trench coat would look dated in a few years too but because Kate Middleton wore it, I think it stands a chance of becoming a timeless piece.
